The '''April Fools 2022''' update was an April Fools joke that was added to the game on the 31st of March 2022, and was removed from the game on the 2nd of April 2022. It randomized the faces, animations, and the sounds of towers, units and enemies. Additionally, it also changed the [[Narrators#Commander (April Fools 2022)|Commander]] narrator's icons and dialogue. The icon and thumbnail was also changed into a poorly drawn version of the Entity System Update icon and thumbnail, while the title was changed multiple times.
