'''April Fools 2022''' is an April Fools joke that was added to the game on April Fools 2022. It replaced the faces, animations and sounds of towers and enemies. It additionally also changes the [[Narrators#Commander (April Fools 2022)|Commander]] narrator's icons and dialogue. The icon and thumbnail are also changed into a poorly drawn version of the Entity System Update icon and thumbnail. The game name also changed to (new) tower defense game (wow!!!)

The animations of towers, units and enemies are changed into any random animation used in the game. These animations can be from an enemy, unit or a tower. The animations of exclusive towers, such as the War Machine can also be used by them. Additionally, the animation can also be the animation of an effect, such as the animation when enemies get stung by the [[Swarmer]]. The animations are unique on each server.
