While its firerate can initially be considered slow, it deals high damage. The range is, however, comparable smaller than other towers, such as the [[Minigunner]]. At maximum level, the '''Cowboy''' deals high damage for a somewhat fast firerate. The ''Gold Rush'' ability is also unlocked which means it can deal 65% more damage and have a chance to drop money bags for you, and only you, to collect. This means that, briefly, the '''Cowboy''' can surpass the [[Minigunner]]'s DPS.
