It also appears in the tutorial and first chapters of [[Story Mode|Story]] mode. As the first enemy that spawns, it has fairly mediocre speed and low health.

The [[Grave Digger]] used to have a chance to spawn the '''Normal''' with its ''Triumphing Sheol'' ability on [[Easy Mode|Easy]] mode. The '''Normal''' also has a chance to be spawned by the [[Mystery]] upon its death in [[Legacy Molten Mode|Legacy Molten]] mode. In [[Challenge Maps]], both the [[Mystery]] and [[Mystery Boss]] can summon it upon death. The '''Normal''' is also spawned by the [[Necromancer (Legacy Enemy)|Necromancer]].

The '''Normal''' also appeared in [[The Heights]] as part of the [[SFOTH Event]], in [[Cyber City]] as part of the [[Metaverse Champions Event]], was part of the [[The Classic Event]] and part of [[The Takeover Event]].
