==Strategy==
*Multiple early-game towers, like the [[Golden Crook Boss]], [[Cowboy]], [[Militant]] and [[Golden Soldier]] can be quite effective against this.
**Stronger towers like the [[Engineer]], [[Ranger]], [[Minigunner]] or [[Gatling Gun]] can also be used here.
*As the '''Rotting Terror''' has quite high defense, defense dropping towers like the [[Pyromancer]], [[DJ Booth]] or [[Trapper]] can against it.
**Because of its [[Freeze Immunity]], freezing towers cannot be used to drop its defense. Additionally, all other forms of defense dropping are currently bugged and do not work.
*The '''Rotting Terror''' is quite fast for its health, making stalling towers useful. However, because of its immunities, it cannot be knocked back, chilled or frozen, while stuns only slow it down.
**Additionally, when it first spawns in [[The Nightmare Realm]], it is as a [[Boss]] enemy, meaning that the stalling options are further limited to just stun slowdown.
**As it is a large enemy, it will be stalled for a shorter amount of time compared to average-sized enemies.
