The '''Unstable Ice''' was an [[Enemies|enemy]] that appeared exclusively in [[Outpost 32 (Frost Invasion)|Outpost 32]] as part of the [[Frost Invasion Event]]. Currently, it can be spawned in the [[Sandbox Mode|Sandbox]] mode, though it copies the [[Operation I.C.E Event]] [[Unstable Ice]] statistics. For its debut, it had a decent amount of health and walked slightly faster than the [[Snowy (Frost Invasion)|Snowy]]. It had an ability, ''Flash Freeze'', where upon its death, the '''Unstable Ice''' would expand into an ice bubble which would freeze all towers within the radius, including cliff and air-based towers. This allowed enemies with much greater health, like the [[Snow Golem (Frost Invasion)|Snow Golem]] and [[Frost Invader (Frost Invasion)|Frost Invader]], to seep through your defenses while your towers were stunned. However, it no longer creates an explosion upon death in [[Sandbox Mode|Sandbox]] mode.

The [[Frost Mystery (Frost Invasion)|Frost Mystery]] had a chance to spawn the '''Unstable Ice''' upon its death, from wave 13 onwards.
