'''Castle Outskirts''' was a [[Maps|map]] that could be exclusively played in [[Versus]]. It used a similar design style to [[Castle]].

==Design & Path==
'''Castle Outskirts''' was a medieval map, with grass and a few trees planted around of it. Its main feature was the two large castle walls and the castle battlement in the corner of the map. A lake could also be seen by the castle battlement. The entire map was surrounded by large grassy hills. There were also rocks dividing between the two parts of the map, with each team being on one part. Each part was a carbon copy of the other part.

The black path started and ended in caves inside the hills. It took the perimeter route around the castle walls.

==Strategy==
*The start or end of the map is where most of the ground towers should go, due to the main corners being here.
**If your tower has long range, such as the [[Rocketeer|Rocketer]], it can cover most of the map when placed in the middle.
*You can place [[Ranger|Outlaws]] or [[Sniper]]s on the castle walls, or the castle battlement.
**The castle wall is the best spot for these towers as they can cover a good part of the map from this spot.

==Trivia==
*This map and [[Candy Valley (Versus)|Candy Valley]] were the first (and probably only) versus-exclusive maps to be added to the game.
**Both of these maps were removed in the [[Release v1.0|MEGA Update]] as normal maps gained versus compatibility.
