|The current version of '''Chess Board''' takes place on a marble chess board. The board appears on a wooden table, with red cloth on top of the table. The table itself appears in the middle of a black void. The chessboard is a standard affair, with alternating black and white square, surrounded by a grey border. Various enemy pieces of white and black can be seen, with enemies from the game representing real-life pieces. Some pieces have been destroyed. Playing cards can also be seen on the chess board.

The grey marble path begins at a portal near the black piece legacy [[Fallen King (Legacy)|Fallen King]]. It meanders a fair bit around all the pieces on the board until it reaches the portal near the white piece legacy [[Fallen King (Legacy)|Fallen King]].

The green path started and ended at portals with two Robloxian kings behind them. This map had quite a few turns, but they do not deviate from the main path too much. This meant that the path was quite straight.

|The first version of '''Chess Board''' was a large chess board, on top of a wooden stand. The chessboard was a standard affair, with alternating black and white squares. The chess pieces were Robloxians holding swords or rocket launchers. There were also two pieces with no weapon, but only a crown.

The green path started and ended at portals. It took relatively long straights, but there were some corners near the middle and end of the map.

==Rewards==
The game calculates how many {{Coins|Coins}}, {{Gem|Gems}} and {{Exp|}} you receive based on how many waves you survived and if you won a match. During periods of 100% more {{Exp|}} (Friday – Sunday), any {{Exp|}} earned is multiplied by 2x through the [[XP Boost]] modifier. The VIP [[Gamepasses|gamepass]] also multiplies any {{Exp|}} earned by 1.25x through the [[VIP Boost]] modifier. These two boosts are additive. Regular {{Exp|}} boosts are multiplicative with other modifiers present on this map.

Any rewards that end in a decimal point is rounded down, no matter the first figure of the leading decimal.

==Strategy==
*This path takes fairly long detours around the chess pieces. This means that towers with long range, like the [[Turret]], are recommended.
**If you can find good spots to place them, the [[Pursuit]] and [[Ace Pilot]] can be quite useful on this map.
**Because of the long detours, [[units]], like the [[Railgun Tank]], can shoot at enemies far ahead of it without the risk of it being destroyed.
*You can place cliff towers on the chess pieces and cards.
**Be aware of the little space to place cliff towers, especially in the middle of the map.
**Some chess pieces do not allow for cliff towers to be placed on them.
**To allow cliff towers to reach the entire map, the [[DJ Booth]] is recommended.
