==Description==
The '''Grave Digger''' was the first major boss in [[Hardcore Mode|Hardcore]] mode and the original final boss of [[Easy Mode|Easy]] mode, though it was replaced by a new version which was later moved to [[Casual Mode|Casual]], with this enemy being a legacy enemy. Currently, it can only be spawned in [[Sandbox Mode|Sandbox]] mode if the player has the Sandbox Plus+ [[Gamepasses|gamepass]]. The '''Grave Digger''' has [[Stun Immunity]], reducing the effectiveness of the stun from stunning towers like the [[Electroshocker]] and [[Warden]], while also preventing it from being knocked back. As it is a boss enemy, it is also immune to being frozen by freezing towers, slowed down by the [[Toxic Gunner]], confused by the [[Jester]], damaged from the [[Nuke]]'s fallout and slowed down by the [[DJ Booth]].

It has very high health compared to anything that spawns before, but to compensate, it moves very slowly. In addition, it can stun towers and damage units by performing its ''Stomp'' abilities. It can also perform its ''Triumphing Sheol'' ability which "unearths" multiple [[enemies]].

This strategy refers to the state of the game while the '''Invisible''' still appeared in the [[Hardcore Mode|Hardcore]] mode.
*High DPS towers such as the [[Turret]], [[Ranger]] or [[Golden Minigunner]] are recommended against this.
**The [[Commander]] and [[DJ Booth]] should be used to support these towers.
**However, do note that [[Hardcore Mode|Hardcore]] mode gives very little cash and not much time to use [[Farm]]s when the '''Grave Digger''' appears, so expensive towers will be harder to get. Cheaper towers with good DPS like the [[Minigunner]] can also be used.
**Be aware that the '''Grave Digger''' can spawn multiple enemies at once. This means that if the [[Accelerator]] locks onto the '''Grave Digger''', you may need to place other towers like the [[Minigunner]] or [[Turret]] to deal with the summoned enemies.
*[[Rocketeer]]s and [[Mortar]]s can be helpful against this boss as they are able to kill the enemies summoned from the ''Grave Digging'' ability fairly well, as well as being able to deal with lead enemies.
