==Strategy==
*The '''Mortar''' is essentially a cliff-based [[Rocketeer]]. However, the '''Mortar''' deals less single target damage without its cluster bombs (which are very unlikely to all deal full damage to the enemy) while having a significantly larger explosion. This makes the '''Mortar''' a better option against hordes.
*In most cases, the '''Mortar's''' shells will land behind an enemy.
**This can be useful for hordes of enemies, as the '''Mortar's''' shells will land closer to the middle of the hordes instead of landing at the front. This allows its explosions to hit more enemies.
**However, this makes the '''Mortar''' somewhat weaker against single targets. As explosions will land behind an enemy, the enemy will be further away from the center of the explosion, which can reduce the amount of damage it receives.
***This is usually negligible for slow enemies, but for much faster ones like the [[Fallen Rusher]], the '''Mortar's''' DPS may be reduced drastically.
