Candy Valley Candy Cane Lane __TOC__ ==Description== Candy Valley is a two-pathed map in the style of a confectionery wonderland. As it is a two-pathed map, enemies alternate between the spawn points. It has been remade once since its addition to the game. ==Design & Path== {{Tabber |Current |Candy Valley is a large confectionary island surrounded by a blue ocean. Scattered around the island are confectionary-based treats, including chocolate bars, candy canes, ice creams, lollipops, ice lollies and waffles. Green grass is the main terrain of the island, though various other terrains can be seen, symbolizing sugar and various creams. A river can also be seen with confectionery treats seen in it. The two sand paths begin at two caves at one of the island before intersecting just before crossing the river. One of the waves face away from the ending cave with the other facing towards the end cave. The bridge over the river is an ice cream sandwich bridge. The sand path then meanders around a grass mound before reaching the end, which is at a cave. The right side is slightly longer than the left side. |Version 2 |The second version of Candy Valley is identical to the first version, except chocolate terrain water surrounded the map, instead of a chocolate baseplate terrain. |Version 1 |The first version of Candy Valley was a confectionery island surrounded by a chocolate lake. The ground was green grass on this map with chocolate bars, ice creams and lollipops scattered around. Hills surrounded the map with a chocolate river bisecting the map. One path started away from the end cave (left side) and one path started facing towards the end cave (right side). The right path was slightly longer than the left side. The black slate paths intersected quite close to the right side spawn and then merged into one path. This path crossed a wooden bridge before ending on the other side of the map. }} ==Interactive Map== ==Rewards== The game calculates how many Coins, Gems and you receive based on how many waves you survived and if you won a match. During periods of 100% more (Friday β Sunday), any earned is multiplied by 2x through the XP Boost modifier. The VIP gamepass also multiplies any earned by 1.25x through the VIP Boost modifier. These two boosts are additive. Regular boosts are multiplicative with other modifiers present on this map. Any rewards that end in a decimal point is rounded down, no matter the first figure of the leading decimal. ==Strategy== *You should cluster your defenses around the path intersection as towers here are useful in defending from both paths. **The towers here should not be too overwhelmed as one of the paths is shorter than the other. **Additionally, it is close to the start of the right path, meaning that you can kill those enemies before moving on to the left side enemies. *The Ranger and Sniper are usable though the cliff space in this map is quite limited. **They can be placed on hills, though some cliffs are a distance away from the path. **If required, a DJ Booth may be needed to extend the range of cliff towers. *You can use towers that deal splash damage, such as the Rocketeer or Mortar, to hit multiple enemies when the paths intersect. **The Archer, Assassin and Shotgunner can also hit multiple enemies here. ==Gallery== {{Gallery| Map Icons <gallery> Candy Valley.png|First and second versions (13 October 2019 β 8 May 2021) </gallery> View <gallery> CVView.png|First version (13 October 2019 β 29 October 2020) CandyValleyView2.png|Second version (29 October 2020 β 8 May 2021) </gallery> Promotional Videos <gallery> Tesla Tower Trailer - Tower Defense Simulator|Current version on a promotional video. Enemies now alternate in spawn points between the paths. **This map, Nightmare Carnival (now removed), Retro Zone and Legacy Gilded Path are the only two-pathed maps with a rating of Hard instead of Insane. ==Update History== *13 October 2019 - Release v1.0.0 **Candy Valley added. **Bug Towers do not target the enemies closest to the entrance when set on First targeting setting. *29 October 2020 - Overhaul v1.3.0 **Insane difficulty added. **Baseplate water replaced with terrain water. **No longer gives a badge upon first triumph. *8 May 2021 - Overhaul v1.3.0 **Candy Valley remade. **Difficulty changed from Insane to Hard. **Enemies are now divided between lanes. **Bugfix Towers now target enemies closest to the entrance when set on First targeting setting properly. MapNavBox
