==Strategy== *You can only place a maximum of five Golden Crook Bosses. **If you have other towers without placement limits (such as the Minigunner and the Militant) then it is best to use them after you have got five Golden Crook Bosses. *The Golden Crook Boss is well worth its cost mid to late-game, and it does a great job at dealing damage, especially when the goons are included. **In some regards, the Golden Crook Boss is superior to the Minigunner, but it does have a hefty placement limit, and it often relies on the goons that can be killed easily. *Do not rely entirely on the goons as their low health makes them vulnerable to enemy collision and abilities that deal damage. *If you are on a map where units can consistently target enemies from further away, such as Crossroads or Honey Valley, the units that spawn from the Golden Crook Boss may prove quite useful in providing extra damage, especially against slower enemies. **You may also use towers, such as the Electroshocker, Frost Blaster or Freezer, to slow down enemies, giving the units more time to shoot at enemies. **Do note, however, that there is a limit on how many of them can be spawned from a single Golden Crook Boss. Additionally, they all have lifespans, making them last on the map for only a few minutes. *It may be useful to keep skipping waves in order to keep the Golden Crook Boss's units attacking so they can stack more. **Do be aware that you may be overwhelmed by the amount of enemies, so make sure you are safe before skipping. *The Field Medic can protect the Golden Crook Boss's units from attacks that can damage unit, such as stomps, so it can be useful to pair this tower with the Mercenary Base in modes like Hardcore mode or Polluted Wasteland II, allowing you to stack up a lot of units. **Be aware that this may cause major performance issues if there are too many units present.
