==Description==
The '''Hex's Maw''' was the third boss that appeared in [[The Nightmare Realm]] and [[Containment]] as part of the [[Hexscape Event]]. It had the [[Stun Immunity]], making it immune to knockback and stuns, being only slowed down by stuns. When it first appeared, it was a [[Boss]] enemy, granting multiple immunities. It also occasionally spawned as a [[Bloated]], [[Nimble]] or [[Freeze Immunity|Freeze Immune]] enemy.

It had an ability, ''Devious Slash,'' where it swung in a wide arc with its sword, stunning towers for 3.5 seconds and dealing 150 damage to units.

==Appearance==
The '''Hex's Maw''' had light maroon skin. It wore a brown shirt, pants and cape. It also wore red shoes, grey spiked shoulder-pads, chestplate, padding around its waist and elbow-pads. On its head, it had a grey metal mask with long horns, which resembled a skull. It held a large grey sword with its blade split in half, only slightly connected in certain spots.

==Strategy==
*As the '''Hex's Maw''' appears on Wave 16, high DPS towers like the [[Accelerator]], [[Gatling Gun]], [[Engineer]] and [[Minigunner]] are recommended.
**Support towers such as the [[Commander]] and [[DJ Booth]] can be useful at providing boosts to your towers.
***The [[Ace Pilot]] can be used to give such towers hidden detections.
*The '''Hex's Maw''' has quite high defense. Because of this, defense dropping towers like the [[Pyromancer]], [[Freezer]] or [[DJ Booth]] can be useful against it.
*Because of its immunities, it cannot be knocked back, frozen or chilled, and it is only slowed down instead of being stunned by stunning towers.
**Additionally, when it first spawns it is a [[Boss]] enemy, making it immune to even more forms of stalling. The only towers capable of slowing it down as a [[Boss]] are stunning towers like the [[Electroshocker]] or [[Trapper]].
