==Description==
The '''Shrike Crystal''' was a crystal that appeared once a [[Controlled]] was killed. The crystal stunned nearby towers and were resistant to explosions. You could not lose to these as they could not move, but they had a large amount of health, more than the [[Slow Boss]], and allowed other enemies to pass through. The '''Shrike Crystal''' was mostly a support enemy as it allowed other enemies to pass stunned towers.

==Appearance==
At the center of '''Shrike Crystals''' were [[Controlled]] enemies, and white, slightly transparent, marble crystals expanded from it. The '''Shrike Crystal''' could grow to a size larger than the player.

== Strategy ==
*While you cannot die to the '''Shrike Crystal''', they are very dangerous, as the towers near to it cannot attack, allowing faster enemies to overwhelm your defenses.
*These are immune to splash damage from the [[Demoman]], [[Rocketeer|Rocketer]] and [[Commando]], meaning that they are quite hard to destroy.
**While also immune to splash damage from the [[Military Base]]'s [[units]], [[Tank (Unit)|Tanks]] and [[Railgun Tank]]s are effective against the '''Shrike Crystal''' as their ranged weapons cannot be stunned.
**Other [[units]], such as the [[Shotgunner|Enforcer]]'s [[SWAT Van]] and the [[Crook Boss]]'s [[Crook|Crook 1]] and [[Mafia|Crook 2]], are very effective against the '''Shrike Crystal'''.
*Long-ranged towers, such as the [[Ranger|Outlaw]], are recommended as they can be placed far away from the '''Shrike Crystal'''.
*Make sure you place towers a distance away from the spawn, in case a [[Controlled]] is spawn-killed, and make sure you do not place long-ranged towers near the path.
*If you can, relocate your towers away from the '''Shrike Crystal'''.
