Every year, Roblox hosts the Innovation Awards event (formerly the Bloxys). Tower Defense Simulator has been nominated by Roblox in the Bloxys and Innovation Awards five times, all in different categories, winning only one of them.

In the [[w:c:Roblox:Roblox Innovation Awards 2026|Roblox Innovation Awards 2026]], Tower Defense Simulator was nominated for ''Best Strategy Experience''. The reward was originally listed by BelowNatural as a Bloxy skin of community's choice, though it was quickly changed to just a special celebration. A KJ [[Brawler]] skin was also shown off by a developer at one point, though its lack of acknowledgement points towards it being a joke and not an actual reward.
