Every year, Roblox hosts the Innovation Awards event (formerly the Bloxys). Tower Defense Simulator has been nominated by Roblox in the Bloxys and Innovation Awards five times, all in different categories, winning only one of them.
Roblox Innovation Awards 2026 (Voting ongoing)
[edit | edit source]In the Roblox Innovation Awards 2026, Tower Defense Simulator was nominated for Best Strategy Experience. The reward was originally listed by BelowNatural as a Bloxy skin of community's choice, though it was quickly changed to just a special celebration. A KJ Brawler skin was also shown off by a developer at one point, though its lack of acknowledgement points towards it being a joke and not an actual reward.

If Tower Defense Simulator had won the category, a bigger gift than the Bloxy Commander skin would have been made, alongside The Umbra returning.

8th Annual Bloxy Awards (Won)
[edit | edit source]In the 8th Annual Bloxy Awards, Tower Defense Simulator was nominated for Best Game Trailer, specifically for the 2020 Tower Defense Simulator Trailer. As Tower Defense Simulator won the category, the Bloxy Commander skin was added to the game, obtained through the now expired BLOXY21 code. An acceptance speech video was also made.
