Tower Defense Simulator Wiki:Copyrights
Licenses
This wiki contains text under two versions of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license.
- Imported historical text from Fandom, and any other text last contributed before the 12th of September 2026 remains licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License (CC BY-SA 3.0).
- New contributions made on or after the 12th of September 2026 are licensed by their authors under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).
By editing this wiki on or after that date, you agree to license your original contribution, that is, the text you add or the copyrightable changes you make, to be under CC BY-SA 4.0.
What this means for a page that contains both
Any unchanged pre-cutoff wording will stay as CC BY-SA 3.0, while new or substantially modified wording is considered as CC BY-SA 4.0.
A current article that mixes both is an adaptation of the earlier 3.0 material. CC BY-SA 3.0 permits adaptations to be shared under a later CC BY-SA version, therefore:
- A reuser of the current page as a whole may treat that adaptation as available under CC BY-SA 4.0, provided the person gives attribution and indicates that changes were made.
- A reuser who copies only unchanged pre-cutoff text must treat that excerpt as CC BY-SA 3.0.
- Pre-cutoff page revisions in the history will remain available under CC BY-SA 3.0.
Attribution
For reuse of text on this wiki, attribution is satisfied in a reasonable manner by:
- a link to the specific page you reused; and
- a link to that page's history (which lists authors and shows what changed); and
- a notice of the license, with a link to the license text; and
- an indication that the material was modified, if you changed it.
Page history is considered the primary author credit on this wiki.
To be clear, when reusing a mixed page under 4.0, a link to https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/ is appropriate for the current adaptation. If you reuse only historical 3.0 text, link to https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ instead.
