Description
[edit]TDS Experimental is a game made by Paradoxum Games. It is used by the developers to make public tests, mostly for backend changes, which later get moved to the main game.
It is currently not playable, as it has been privated.
Notable Differences
[edit]TDS Experimental has multiple differences with Tower Defense Simulator other than what the developers are currently testing, with some even being removed at a later point.
- As part of the most recent two tests, every player was given Gem 1,000,000 and Coin 10,000,000. Additionally, if the player was below Level 100, they would become Level 100.
- The screen is covered in a large wall of text, which shows the user's username and ID.
- A single line of this is not actually aligned with the rest of the text.
- The version listed in the bottom right corner is different.
- TDS Experimental does not support private servers.
- The lobby's server size is 50 instead of 30, while match server size is 25 instead of 6.
Former Differences
[edit]- When it was first made playable by everyone, multiple debug tools and statistic editors were not removed from the game and could instead be opened by pressing F3.
- While Revive Ticket Revive Tickets were disabled in Tower Defense Simulator, they could be used in TDS Experimental.
- In the fourth test, the statistics of Accelerator, Ranger and Ace Pilot were different than the ones in Tower Defense Simulator.
- Altered versions of these statistics would later be added to Tower Defense Simulator.
- Legacy survival modes were enabled in Sandbox mode in the sixth test, though these were quickly removed.
