Curses
Curses has been removed from the game as of the 27th of November 2025 as it was part of the Null & Void Event.
This page has been preserved for historical purposes.
Curses were special attributes applied to matches that could affect gameplay in the Hard Mode of Null & Void Event, giving players advantages, disadvantages or both. There were nine Curses in total.

Mechanics
[edit]In Hard Mode of Null & Void Event, at the start of certain waves, the screen would display 3 curses for players to vote and select, with a 60 seconds voting duration. After all players vote, the duration shortens to 3 seconds. The curse with the most votes would be applied for the rest of the game.
Waves needed for each nights for the curses selection to be chosen were as below:
- (Night 1) Outpost 16: 5 waves
- (Night 2) Banlands: 5 waves
- (Night 3) Blind Faith: 6 waves
"Towers gain a 10% damage boost when the player has 25% of their total health left"
"You have 1 HP, Gain 10% more eco from wave bounuses[sic]"
"Enemies all gain hidden modifier, towers gain a 10% boost to range"
"Debuffs applied to towers last 50% longer, debuffs applied from towers have a 10% longer duration."
"Towers have 5% less range and slower attack cooldown. Players have their total tower limit increased by 10"
"Enemies gain stun, freeze, fire immunities. Towers gain access to all detections at the start of the wave."
"Towers gain a 10% cooldown debuff. On the last wave towers gain a 10% damage and cooldown buff."
"Towers gain stun immunity, enemies gain mutation modifier."
"Enemies gain bloated and nimble."

- Dispatcher only mentioned the curses introduced 1 wave later in Night 1 and 3.
