"The ancient god of death, stack its war staff up to victory!"
―Store Description

Description

Anubis is a short-range ground tower that attacks with its war staff, dealing damage based on its stack on 1 enemy. Anubis can be purchased from the store for   1,000 and has a level requirement of Level 50.

Anubis is a unique tower with the passive ability to stack souls, everytime Anubis has enough damage to finish off an enemy, it will completely ignore swingrate cooldown, doing a different animation killing its enemy, gaining the enemy's soul. For each soul gain, 1 more damage that Anubis will permanently deal. This passive ability has no limit.

Anubis, however, cannot gain buffs from any towers like the Commander, or DJ Booth.

There is a placement limit of three Anubis for each player.

Strategy

  • Anubis relies on stacking, place it alone somewhere far from other towers to guarantee a stack.
  • Anubis is really bad against tanky hordes spam as it can only attack one enemy at a time.
  • Try your best to place Anubis as early as possible in order to get more stacks.
  • Placing 3 Anubis with "wasted" space on a line is the best way to utilise it's Wither ability.
    • This is because enemies get slowed down while in Wither's range, as this ability doesn't stack, placing Anubis like mentioned earlier help this ability to be cast longer in distance.
  • This tower is extremely bad to be moved late game.
    • If enemies are leaking, don't use this tower as something to defend.

Trivia

  • Anubis' stack animation can still fail if the enemy was killed while Anubis' is doing its animation.
  • "Inspired" by Nasus.

Notes

  1. DPS does not take stack animation into account.
  2. DPS does not include Poison Damage.
