―Store Description

Description

[edit]

The Plasma gunner is a tower that shoots powerful gamma ray beams that can ignore enemy shields and can pierce through enemies.

The Plasma Gunner is costs 10,000 coins and 1,000 gems in the shop. It uses a futuristic gun to shoot out laser beams. It's quite expensive to place and upgrade.

Strategy

[edit]
  • The Scout is mainly used as an early-game tower and does not perform well later on during the game.
    • Past the Slow Boss in Normal and Molten modes, and past the Dark Necromancer in Fallen mode, the Scout becomes excessively weak against the enemies that spawn, mainly due to its minimal DPS.
    • Other towers like the Soldier and Hunter (towers that are extremely cheap to unlock) are far better later on during the game compared to the Scout.
  • It is generally advised to upgrade your Scouts to Level 3 as opposed to placing multiple lower level Scouts or using Level 4 Scouts, as it is more cost efficient.
  • The Scout has cheap hidden detection. This means that the Scout can be used to defend against weaker hidden enemies, like the Hidden and Shadow, while you can work on getting more expensive towers and upgrades.
    • However, its minimal DPS makes it unreliable for Hiddens and Shadows, unless multiple Level 4 Scouts are placed.
  • The Scout can be used as a cheap way to distract enemies like the Molten Boss from using their abilities on more useful towers, like the Accelerator.
    • This could be risky however, due to the tower slot limit of 5, you may not be able to choose better towers.
      • You can use the Scout to deal with the early waves to give it some use other than distracting bosses' abilities.
    • The DJ Booth can also increase the Scout's somewhat short range.

Trivia

[edit]
  • The Scout's name, appearance and function are loosely based on the Tower Battles' Scout.
  • The Scout and Sniper are the only towers that a player unlocks for free when they first play Tower Defense Simulator.
  • The Scout has the lowest placement cost in the game.
  • The SCT, an enemy that appeared in the Hidden Wave, was a reference to this tower.
  • The Scout appears alongside the Pyromancer, Commander, Sniper and Minigunner on the "Triumph" screen.
  • The Scout enemy from Pizza Party is based on the Scout tower.
