Description

This template is used to generate colored bolded text. On mobile, only preset values are displayed. Any custom colors will not be.

Syntax & Usage

{{Colour|<color>|<text>|<outline>}}

This template uses up to four parameters. The first parameter is the color of the text, which can be filled out in two ways. The first is a hexadecimal value without the # symbol. The second and main way of adding text is by inputting a specific name, such as Krampus or Halloween2019. This will make the text have a specific text color and outline. A full list of values that can be used can be seen by either looking at the source code or in the tables below.

The second parameter is the text that is displayed. In some cases, like the Golden value, there is preset text that will be displayed if this parameter is not filled out. The third parameter is only used with custom text color made using hexadecimal values, which changes the look of the outline or removes it completely. The outline by default is set to be the Outline template.

Color Addition

For colors to appear on mobile, an administrator has to add proper CSS to the wiki. While not available, colors can be added like this:

Colors should not be added to this page for these reasons:

• Personal use colors that will not be used on main articles. Use the regular way of adding them through hex codes or create your own template, such as for example Template:youColor.
• One time use colors for infoboxes. As inline styles work in infoboxes on mobile and due to these being used only once, there is no reason to add them to the template or CSS.

Preset Values

The "User For" column lists the main uses of each value. Because of this, some of the colors listed here may be used for other purposes (such as using the "Krampus" value for the Krampus infobox title), even if not listed here.
