Description

[edit]

The Duck Hunt Event was the tenth event added to Tower Defense Simulator. This event had a season pass, which required EggEggs to reach higher ranks.

This event started on 17th of April 2022 and ended on 28th of May 2022. On 23rd of April 2022, two new skins were added to the season pass.

Hunting Season Pass

You could obtain EggEggs from playing on D00M's Revenge. You could not get EggEggs by playing regular matches. The amount of EggEggs for each wave is as follows:

Egg250 Eggs x (Waves/20)^1.75 (+Egg100 Eggs for triumph)

Losing on Wave ??? or on Wave 🦆 (Duck emoji) is treated as a loss on Wave 20.

In total, it would have taken Egg13,175 Eggs or Robux 2,030 to complete the Hunting Season Pass.

Trivia

[edit]
  • There are multiple scrapped enemies that were meant to be added as part of the Duck Hunt Event or appeared in promotional material, but were never added to the event. These enemies are:
    • A duck with red hat and red shoes, which can be seen on the Duck Hunt Event thumbnail.
      • This duck has a very similar appearance to the Cool Ducky (D00M's Revenge), except that it does not have a skateboard.
      • Two more variants of this duck could be seen on a tweet made by Paradoxum Games. These were likely not meant to be unique enemies, but instead recolored versions of the duck, made to recreate the Among Drip meme.
    • A duck with a blue propeller hat and a lollipop, which can be seen on the Duck Hunt Event thumbnail.
    • Lead Ducky, which would have a steel helmet and its wings would be covered with metal armor. It was not added as it was not necessary.
      • This would have been the only Lead enemy to appear in the event.
    • Roller Ducky, which would be a duck which would ride a blue wooden roller board. It was not added as it was not necessary.
    • Penguin, which would look similar to P3NGU, but without the metal armor. It was not added as it was not necessary.
  • This, alongside the Metaverse Champions Event are the only events that do not award you an exclusive tower upon triumph.
  • The objectives that appeared in this event were the first appearance of the Quest UI.
  • Before the 19th of April 2022, the seventh rank was cheaper to buy with Robux Robux than the sixth rank, since the seventh rank used to cost Robux 250.
    • After the 19th of April 2022, the price was increased to Robux 320.
  • All of the skins in the Hunting Season Pass would end up becoming skins for the Ducky Crate.
