Now he has the same targetting gimmick as accelerator, where he'll target that tower until it dies or leaves out of range

edit: nevermind i tested it and it works the same, but for some reason in night 2 of the event it was acting like that (that's why i made this post)

It does this with enemies that have unique animations.
