Nametag Crate has not been implemented in the actual game, though it may have been in testing places, teased by the developers or left unused in-game.
Because of this, not all information on the item in question is known and certain information may not be entirely accurate. Additionally, whenever it will be added in the future is not always clear.

Description

The Nametag Crate was an unreleased crate made alongside all the other crate updates made in the Overhaul Update. This was originally the intended way to unlock nametags, which was never added as their main obtainment method was changed to the Daily Store.

Appearance

The Nametag Crate was a blue box with grey edges and top. On top of the crate, there was a giant beige tag.

The crate would fall down from the sky, and then be opened using a blue key to reveal the nametag gotten. Its opening animation can be seen in this video.

Nametags

As this crate never fully made it into the game, the list of nametags gotten from it is impossible to be made or may not even exist.

Trivia

  • If this crate was added like originally planned, nametags would be mainly obtainable from crates rather than the Daily Store.
    • During the Overhaul Update, this would mean that every nametag from it would have an equal chance to be unlocked, as while rarities did exist around that time, they mainly existed to set prices in the Daily Store.
    • Starting from the Violent Night Update, the chance to get nametags would depend on the rarity of the nametag. For example, the Doge Nametag would be rarer to get than the Blue Nametag.
