Releases a burning plague to all enemies for 25 seconds, dealing burn and poison damage over time while reducing enemy defense and speed.
―In-Game Description

Description

The Unholy Storm is an event consumable that can be obtained from the Null & Void Event. It is an offensive support hybrid which both deals damage to enemies and also debuff them through a burning plague applied on the entire map.

The Unholy Storm can be used three times by a player in a single match. It has a 45 second cooldown, but when the match starts, it is set to 30.

Usage

When using the Unholy Storm, the player will start to hold what appears to be a cracked green egg that can throw on the map. While this will create an explosion around the selected area, this is only visual as the effect will actually be map wide.

After this, a burning plague will be unleashed on enemies, which lasts 25 seconds. This will set them on fire and poison them:

  • The burn debuff will deal 10 damage and drop 20% defense every 0.25 tick. Does not work on any enemy with the Burn Immunity. This lasts 6 seconds, though as the consumable itself is longer it will keep on reapplying itself multiple times.
  • The poison debuff is supposed to deal 10 damage every 0.25 tick and make the enemies walk 25% slower, however, due to bugs, it does not actually deal any damage. Any Boss enemy is immune to its slowdown. This lasts 6 seconds, though as the consumable itself is longer it will keep on reapplying itself multiple times.

Due to the burn and poisons getting reapplied, in total these will last for around 29.25 seconds, which should deal 2,340 to an enemy that has been affected by the consumable since it has been used. However, as poison damage is currently broken, they only deal 1,170 instead.

Appearance

The Unholy Storm is what appears to be a cracked green egg with green goo on the inside.

Strategy

  • The Unholy Storm is best used on hard waves consisting of multiple enemies, as its global effect can easily kill or weaken a lot of enemies.
    • While it can be used on a single enemy as it would still deal more damage to them when compared to consumables like the AirStrike, it will take a long time to deal its full damage which may result in faster enemies leaking.
  • As the effect of this is global, it can be very useful on two or more path maps which usually have the enemies spread out between multiple paths.
