^You’re forgetting about the lackey stacking, bounties, lead detection and flying detection. Also, its earlier upgrades are extremely cost efficient and work well in mid game. You shouldn’t judge towers of only their DPS.

"lackey stacking" yeah but they dont have field medics to protect them and have NO up time to atleast stack at the front of the map, a full stack will rarely ever happen. Bounties doesnt matter by the late game where you're getting rushed with high hp targets instead of one dps check every few waves, lackies detections NEVER overlap with kingpin's meaning when any enemy has any detection, you are losing a huge chunk of dps on both sides

his upgrades arent cost efficient, if anything they're on the lower end of cost efficiency, 170-180 ce for a mid game tower is atrocious, even some late game towers have better ce. and the moment you go the levels where the paths split, you will ALWAYS have near 250-300 ce on average

What makes him worse in mid game is that he lacks hidden, which is the most common detection especially around the time in the game where detection checks ramp up.

Lackeys can stack easily on the right map and right strategy. If it doesn’t happen for you it’s skill issue. Lackeys cover hidden detection easily, as well as bouncers and contracters. Bounties can go up to a whopping 50,000 dollars. Can farm or cowboy do that? No.
The cost efficiency you’re looking at in the kingpin’s statistics count the dps for only the kingpin itself. Adding up the DPS of lackeys, money runners, bouncers, and contractors, the cost efficiency would be outstanding.
Kingpin is a good tower, just admit it.

lackeys can stack easily but will never reach max potential or atleast a noticeable amount of late game dps, and any kingpin fan's argument is "IF and WHEN XYZ", lackeys cant cover hidden for shit cuz 1. they will die to enemy attacks cuz theyre made of glass 2. they have below average range (less than rifleman) making it harder to stack up. Bouncers are literally a weaker riot guard and get countered by ghost enemies. Contractors deal just underwhelming dps man, barely over 200 dps per kingpin at her best performance.

lackey is the highest single target dps unit of kingpin, and with its average performance, kingpin's ce is infact, still mid.

Bounties can go up to a whopping "50,000 dollars" but you need to invest 60k to the same kingpin, and you have a cooldown of 2 minutes, meaning its gonna takea long time to payback that price, considering how weak early dps checks are. Golden cowboys can give money passively and does it fast while also being usable through every stage of the game. Farm can give that samea mount of money in under 4 waves, and due to how cheap 10 max farms is, waves are usually pretty short when you do max said farms.

and dont forget that to reach that max bounty you need an enemy with a high hp pool, which is a rare condition in most modes that farm and cowboy doesnt depend on

top path kingpin is only good for mini bosses
bottom path kingpin is a fraud

If you’re on a map with loops (ie summer castle, pw2, u-turn, simplicity, etc) lackeys can stack easily. The idea is that their DPS (which can literally reach up to 2,000 DPS in a maximum stack, not even counting the kingpins themselves) can hold back the enemies. That’s why they don’t have an insane amount of health, because their DPS is independent. The money you’re investing is 90% for DPS. You’re acting like it’s 60k dollars investing completely into income. It’s for the DPS of both the tower and the units, and also the incredible income potential.

"IF youre on a map with loops " + ur a summer castle player

"their dps can reach up to 7k" literally in what world, i have done the math several times, they can only deal up to 1.9k dps in total.

and idk what the FUCK your point on the money is, this applies to cowboys and farms as well.

Ok you argued further. We sound kind of like kindergarteners fighting but a single maxed-out Kingpin focusing entirely on Lackeys can build up a maximum stack that deals a combined ~233 DPS.

Because you can place up to 4 Kingpins, all of them spamming Lackeys simultaneously can make the total stack 2000+ DPS. When counting the kingpins themselves, the total dps adds up to around 4000 dps. My point on income explained that the cash you invest into the kingpin not only can make insanely good income but also make extremely good DPS. “Farm also does that” idk what you mean because farm is focused entirely on income (still good) but doesn’t have any DPS on its own.

                  dude are you a moron

one kingpin can only stack 3 lackies per unit queue. (by the time the 4th spawns, the first lackey dies at the exact same time.)

one lackey deals 7 damage every 0.12 seconds, giving a total of 58.33 dps per lackey.

one unit queue of lackies can only stack up to 175 dps

a level 6b kingpin has 3 unit queues, multiple 3 by 3, that gives 525 dps per kingpin, you can only place 4 kingpins
                  525 * 4 is 2075 dps in total

you are LOUD and WRONG bro, if we include the fact that lackies will eventually reach the front of the map, you will never have 100% uptime on your lackies.. meaning that number goes down drastically in realistic matches.

top path kingpin's damage is unironically ATROCIOUS

Top path was MADE for income, why do you care about the DPS so much? I don’t get why you hate the kingpin so much because it’s unironically one of the best towers in the game.

top path was made for income but only performs well in the ifnal few waves

i care so much about dps because ppl glaze its damage output like its accel or jugg

Gatling gun and Engineer aren't pure single targets (GG does less damage even with crowds due to its ass DPS). Juggenaut and Accelerator can deal a lot, but not as much, though it depends.

accel, jugg, engineer, gatling and pursuit can all deal that same amount for cheaper

Like 10 gminis can still deal more damage Cuz it’s somehow more cost efficient then kingpin

Oh and don’t Forget merc base aka kingpin’s daddy that super mogs him

Engineer and Gatling aren't pure single (still less damage), Accel and Jugg are strong, but deal around 500k damage. 10 GMinis would never deal such a DPS, Mercenary Base barley does 1M damage under best conditions (normally not even 300k). Pursuit, aka Esuit deals 200k at best.

wtf are you on about, engi deals amazing single, aactually 400 more dps than kingpin would ever dream of AND being able to splash that dps around, gatling is crowd control but is still so cheap for the amount of dps you're getitng. Accel and jugg obliterate kingpin due to their range, cost efficiency, being fully buffable and having hidden. Merc base deals the same if not more dps than kingpin for half the price, 1 less placement, and having field medics + being able to cover all 3 detections fairly well. pursuit has map wide range and is still more cost efficient than your bum
