Wrecked Battlefield but purple
―Your_Adversary on X[1]

Description

Wretched Front is a map that seems to take place somewhere deep in the Nil Zone.

This map is only in the map rotation for Hardcore and Voidcore modes.

Design & Path

Wretched Front is a battlefront located in the Nil Zone. It contains a small island surrounded by a purple liquid. On the other side of the moat, there are multiple cliffs. The island itself contains a few towers connected by chains, a few cliffs and various abandoned swords and banners. A few destroyed Siege Engines also appear there.

The path starts at a large wall with eyes on the sides and a gate meant to be a mouth and ends at a small entrance accessed through a bridge. The path weaves around various obstacles on the map.

Rewards

The game calculates how many CoinCoins, GemGems and Experience EXP you receive based on how many waves you survived and if you won a match. During periods of 50% more Experience EXP (Friday – Sunday), any Experience EXP earned is multiplied by 1.5x through the XP Boost modifier. The VIP gamepass also multiplies any Experience EXP earned by 1.25x through the VIP Boost modifier. These two boosts are additive. Regular Experience EXP boosts are multiplicative with other modifiers present on this map.

Any rewards that end in a decimal point is rounded down, no matter the first figure of the leading decimal.

Mode Coins/Gem Reward EXP Reward
Hardcore Gem150 ÷ (1 + [(45 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]^3.5) + Gem250 (Triumph Bonus) Experience200 EXP ÷ (1 + [(45 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]) + Experience200 EXP (Triumph Bonus)
Voidcore Gem250 ÷ (1 + [(50 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]^3) + Gem450 (Triumph Bonus) Experience200 EXP ÷ (1 + [(50 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]) + Experience300 EXP (Triumph Bonus)

Strategy

  • The many u-turns on this and the central part of the map are the ideal spots for towers due to their path coverage.
    • Towers such as the Pyromancer and Ace Pilot may benefit from being placed in the middle of such u-turns.
    • Support towers such as the DJ Booth and Commander should be placed in between the two central cliffs to maximize their range.
    • High DPS towers such as the Juggernaut, Ranger, Accelerator, or the Turret should be placed on the central area as well.
  • The map is quite long, this may benefit players as they are able to farm and afford more expensive options for their early game tower.
    • Due to how the map zigzags upon itself, towers can easily maximize their range, this is also apparent with the Operator as it can easily cover a large majority of the path with only a few of them placed.
