Description

Unknown Garden is a Hardcore-exclusive map that takes place at night on a floating island.

Design & Path

Unknown Garden is a small garden sanctuary located on a mountain. It is inhabited by a few void creatures which can be seen sitting on benches. The garden contains various plants, including trees, potted plants, flowers, vines and other miscellaneous plants. The garden contains a stone path surrounded by a few stone walls. On these paths, there are a few benches, one of them placed at the edge of a cliff, overlooking the purple river in the distance. There is also a Two X statue in the middle of the sanctuary. In one corner, there is also an additional statue where someone is holding another person in their hands.

The path starts at the purple portal and ends at an orange portal. The path moves across the stone ground seen in the garden.

Unknown Garden took place on a floating island in space with a destroyed garden. The garden in some parts wais surrounded by dark purple hills, fences or walls. In the garden, multiple purple trees with purple flames coming out of them could be found. There were also multiple destroyed buildings there, with only some parts of their walls left. On the hills, multiple humanoids were on them, two of them being Vindicators and two being Soul Stealers. The other humanoids do not appear to be any enemies currently in the game.

The path started and ended at a portal. The path takes multiple turns, avoiding natural terrain or destroyed buildings.

Rewards

The game calculates how many CoinCoins, GemGems and Experience EXP you receive based on how many waves you survived and if you won a match. During periods of 50% more Experience EXP (Friday – Sunday), any Experience EXP earned is multiplied by 1.5x through the XP Boost modifier. The VIP gamepass also multiplies any Experience EXP earned by 1.25x through the VIP Boost modifier. These two boosts are additive. Regular Experience EXP boosts are multiplicative with other modifiers present on this map.

Any rewards that end in a decimal point is rounded down, no matter the first figure of the leading decimal.

Mode Coins/Gem Reward EXP Reward
Hardcore Gem150 ÷ (1 + [(45 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]^3.5) + Gem250 (Triumph Bonus) Experience200 EXP ÷ (1 + [(45 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]) + Experience200 EXP (Triumph Bonus)
Voidcore Gem250 ÷ (1 + [(50 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]^3) + Gem450 (Triumph Bonus) Experience200 EXP ÷ (1 + [(50 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]) + Experience300 EXP (Triumph Bonus)

Strategy

  • This map has multiple turns and u-turns which are great for the Ace Pilot.
  • This map has quite a lot of cliffs, making cliff towers such as the Ranger and Mortar useful here.
    • The length of the map may also allow players to afford more expensive towers as their early game option.
    • This map is also quite large, cliff towers with high range can easily cover most of the path.
      • Although they will need to be placed further back from the entrance if you want to use them in tandem with ground towers.
  • The second turn may be the best spot to place your towers, buffing towers such as the DJ Booth and Commander should be placed here to maximize their range.
