Description

[edit]

Legacy Space City is a community map which uses the second version of Space City. Because of this, it cannot be played outside of private servers. It is a futuristic map in space.

Legacy Space City is a two-pathed map, so enemies alternate between the spawn points.

Legacy Space City has the All Paths modifier, which duplicates most enemies that spawn.

Design & Path

[edit]

Legacy Space City takes place in a meteor cluster. Various tall buildings are located on meteors with purple sand. Pipes also link the main meteors together.

The purple path begins at two portals and goes onto several meteors. Metal bridges link the path between meteors. Near the middle of the map, the paths intersect before heading towards the portal at the end of the path.

Rewards

[edit]

The game calculates how many Coin Coins, Gem Gems and Experience EXP you receive based on how many waves you survived and if you won a match. During periods of 100% more Experience EXP (Friday – Sunday), any Experience EXP earned is multiplied by 2x through the XP Boost modifier. The VIP gamepass also multiplies any Experience EXP earned by 1.25x through the VIP Boost modifier. These two boosts are additive. Regular Experience EXP boosts are multiplicative with other modifiers present on this map.

Any rewards that end in a decimal point is rounded down, no matter the first figure of the leading decimal.

Difficulty reward scaling for survival mode Coins and Exp is 1.5x.
Mode Coins/Gem Reward EXP Reward
Easy (Coin 250 ÷ (1 + [(20 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]^1.3) + Coin 50 (Triumph Only)) × 1.1 (Experience 50 EXP ÷ (1 + [(20 ÷ Current Wave) - 1])) × 1.1
Casual (Coin 350 ÷ (1 + [(30 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]^1.3) + Coin 100 (Triumph Only)) × 1.1 (Experience 75 EXP ÷ (1 + [(25 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]) + Experience 15 EXP (Triumph Only)) × 1.1
Intermediate (Coin 500 ÷ (1 + [(30 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]^1.3) + Coin 100 (Triumph Only)) × 1.1 (Experience 120 EXP ÷ (1 + [(25 ÷ Current Wave) - 1])) × 1.1
Molten (Coin 550 ÷ (1 + [(35 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]^2.4) + Coin 400 (Triumph Only)) × 1.1 (Experience 135 EXP ÷ (1 + [(35 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]^2) + Experience 50 EXP (Triumph Only)) × 1.1
Fallen (Coin 700 ÷ (1 + [(40 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]^2.4) + Coin 650 (Triumph Only)) × 1.1 (Experience 200 EXP ÷ (1 + [(25 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]^2) + Experience 50 EXP (Triumph Only)) × 1.1
Hidden Wave Gem 150 × 1.1 Experience 250 EXP × 1.1
Frost (Coin 800 ÷ (1 + [(40 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]^2.4) + Coin 1,200 (Triumph Only)) × 1.1
(Gem 75 (Triumph Only)) × 1.1
(Experience 200 EXP ÷ (1 + [(40 ÷ Current Wave) - 1]^2) + Experience 100 EXP (Triumph Only)) × 1.1

Strategy

[edit]
  • The cliff spots are located on the various elevated meteors and buildings scattered across the map.
    • While cliff towers can reach the entire map from some meteor spots, it is unlikely that you will be able to reach these towers with a Commander or DJ Booth.
  • Where the paths intersect is where most of your ground towers should be.
    • However, space is limited here. If required, you may need to split your team in half.
  • Bear in mind that only one unit will spawn per Military Base or Crook Boss, and it will go down a random path.
  • If you plan to use the Farm intensively, it is recommended that you place it near the end of the map as ground space is very limited on this map.

Trivia

[edit]
  • Despite being meant to be the second version of Space City, this is not actually completely accurate as it has the All Paths modifier, which was not present on the map at the time.
  • Despite this map taking place in space, it does not have the Space Suit modifier.
  • This is the only community map which can actually be played in Hardcore mode.
    • While other maps do appear as choices, trying to select them will give an error message stating they are invalid maps.
