Description

[edit]

Wrecked Battlefield is a map that appears to take place after a battle, where trenches have been set up and destroyed vehicles are plentiful.

This map is included in the map rotation for Hardcore mode, as well as the regular map rotation for normal gameplay. It is also the map used for the Speedy Enemies trial when active.

Rewards

[edit]

The game calculates how many Coin Coins, Gem Gems and Experience EXP you receive based on how many waves you survived and if you won a match. During periods of 100% more Experience EXP (Friday – Sunday), any Experience EXP earned is multiplied by 2x through the XP Boost modifier. The VIP gamepass also multiplies any Experience EXP earned by 1.25x through the VIP Boost modifier. These two boosts are additive. Regular Experience EXP boosts are multiplicative with other modifiers present on this map.

Any rewards that end in a decimal point is rounded down, no matter the first figure of the leading decimal.

Difficulty reward scaling for survival mode Coins and Exp is 1x.
Mode Coins/Gem Reward EXP Reward

Strategy

[edit]
  • There are many cliff spots on this map. For this reason, cliff towers are highly recommended on this map.
    • Be aware that the cliff spots are quite far from each other, so it is quite hard to boost a lot of cliff towers with Commander and DJ Booth.
  • You cannot place towers directly near the start of the map. Try to place them near the first or second corner.
  • The map has two distinct layers of ground: the one level with the path and the one slightly higher than the path.
  • There are many turns and corners on this map, try using this to your advantage.
    • Towers with somewhat short range such as the Gladiator or Warden may benefit from these corners.
    • The Ace Pilot is quite efficient in several spots of the map, especially in the large turns.
    • The area at the back of the map is especially effective for the Ace Pilot, though it may take some time before enemies reach that part of the map.

Trivia

[edit]
  • Wrecked Battlefield is the oldest map in the game to be available for Hardcore and Voidcore modes.
    • It is also the only Hardcore map in the game to be selectable in any Survival mode.
  • In the original version of this map, the Void Reaver would often get stuck at the end of the bridge near the exit due to a bug. If it performed Void Stomp, it would become unstuck.
    • In addition, if the Void Reaver activated Void's Deathwish, it would flip under the bridge and disappear into the ground.
  • It was possible for ground units, such as the ones from the Military Base, to collide with flying enemies, like the Balloon, when both were passing over the bridge of the original version of this map.
  • The original version of this map used the models of the Level 5 Ace Pilot, the Level 5 Rocketeer's howitzer, and the Humvee and Truck from the Military Base as destroyed objects for decoration around the map.
  • Prior to the 12th of March 2022, this map was exclusive to Hardcore mode.
    • It used to be the only Hardcore mode-exclusive map.
  • On 7th of March 2022, this alongside Grass Isle, Crystal Cave and Sacred Mountains were accidentally left as the only survival maps in the game. It was unplayable as a survival map, as the game would never load the map.
    • Wrecked Battlefield was playable if you used a Hardcore elevator, though the old version of the map would be loaded.
    • On survival Elevators, Wrecked Battlefield used the Grass Isle icon and difficulty.
    • This was later fixed on the same day.
