Soul Stealer

Description
The Soul Stealer is a mini-boss that appears in Voidcore mode. It has high health but it walks rather slowly.
It has two abilities:
- The first ability is Curse Tower. When performed, the Soul Stealer curses a tower, making it unable to attack until the Soul Stealer is dead. Ability usage for the cursed tower is also disabled, but any passive ability may still work. Additionally, it will steal the soul of the tower and summon in a Soul enemy. Only 20 towers can be cursed by a Soul Stealer at once, with cursed towers that were sold not being included in this limit. In cases where the ability is used when the limit is reached, it will only summon in a Soul.
- The second ability, Summon, makes the Soul Stealer summon in three Souls and one Void Eye. During this, it will also become a Hidden enemy for 12 seconds.
Logbook Description
"The Soul Stealer is one of the highest ranking in the Void Army, and is considered by Void Caster to be invaluable. She created the Soul Stealer to manage the growth of her army, and will only send it out when she feels victory could be achieved. They manage the souls who roam the Void, as well as claim them from whatever realms their rifts begin to tear into. They lack personality and are more like a drone who serves a specific task and does so without fanfare. It is considered ‘lame’, but it does not seem to care."
Appearance
The Soul Stealer has a large, golden lock for a head. It has a single, large eye in the center, with a pupil resembling a key hole. Its chest has numerous gold rectangular pieces attached to it. The Soul Stealer also has a deep purple hood over its head, adorned with golden buttons. It has no legs, rather having a single body segment where the legs would be, all tied up in numerous belts, while its arms are separated from the torso. One of its arms has a golden key attached to it while the other has a lock.
Strategy
- High DPS towers, preferably ones with hidden detection due to its summons and it becoming Hidden every time it uses Summon are recommended. Such towers include the Accelerator, Turret, Juggernaut, Engineer or Mercenary Base.
- The Soul Stealer can curse towers, which will make them do nothing until the Soul Stealer is killed.
- If an important tower was cursed by the Soul Stealer, it is recommended to sell and place it down again if possible, as this will remove the curse.
- The Medic cannot protect towers from being cursed.

Trivia
- When first added in v2.0.0, the Soul Stealer had a third ability where it would turn into a Hidden enemy at 25% of its health. This ended up getting removed in v2.1.0.
- This was seemingly replaced by having it incorporated into its Summon ability, as since the same update it now gives it Hidden temporarily for 12 seconds.
- The Soul Stealer is unaffected by enemy appearance modifiers, such as Talk Like a Pirate Day.
