Null Runner
Null Runner was previously removed from the game on the 26th of November 2025 as it was part of the Null & Void Event, though it has been made available through the Sandbox mode.
It is not accessible anywhere else in the game, aside from in Sandbox Mode. This page will attempt to include information about both the version before removal and its re-added version.

Description
[edit]The Null Runner was the first enemy that appeared in Outpost 16, Banlands and Blind Faith as part of the Null & Void Event. It had lower health than the Nulling but it was far faster than it.
Logbook Description
[edit]"Null Runners are quick enemies that can scale most surfaces with their strong grip and claws. They hunt methodically, stalking their prey and wearing them down to exhaustion. These creatures often tease the weaker Nullings, at least until a Null Dredge shows up."
Appearance
[edit]The Null Runner is a thin, purple enemy. Tendrils sprout from its body, with a slightly more saturated color. It has an exposed set of teeth, which are slightly yellowed. Its joints are slightly more saturated - with them being its elbows, knees and midsection. It has a dome-like head, with no eyes and small horns.
Event Strategy
[edit]As this enemy only appears through Sandbox mode, no strategy section is made for its current version. Instead, a strategy section for the one that appeared without Sandbox mode in Outpost 16, Banlands and Blind Faith is listed instead.
- The Null Runner is quite weak, meaning most early-game towers can handle it.
- Single target towers like the Golden Scout, Militant or Cowboy can be used.
- AOE towers like the Toxic Gunner, Rocketeer, Military Base or Mortar can clear these out quite well, as it generally spawns in hordes.
- Later on, the Null Runner becomes rather weak, meaning most towers should be capable of defeating them, including late-game towers like the Accelerator, Pursuit or Golden Minigunner.
