Champion Templar
Description
The Champion Templar is the final boss of Challenge Trials and all three PVP arenas. It has higher health than all enemies that appear before it and has multiple abilities capable of stunning towers, damaging units and supporting enemies.
It has four abilities, with one of them being Weaponry Switch. This makes it swap between its hammer and minigun for 2.5 seconds. Depending on which mode is currently active, it can use different abilities.
When wielding its minigun, it can only use its Focused Fire ability. This makes it lock onto a target within its range of 20 units, then charge up a powerful shot. After a short delay will cause it to fire with a firerate of 0.05, dealing 600 damage to units and stunning towers for 4 seconds. It will keep firing for 4 seconds.
When wielding its hammer, it has two abilities, Hammer Throw and Fiery Boon.
- Hammer Throw makes the Champion Templar throw its hammer at a target within its range of 25 units, creating an explosion with a radius of 10 on impact. This explosion applies a 4 second stun and 4 second 25% Range Debuff to towers, while also dealing 600 damage to units.
- Fiery Boon makes the Champion Templar slam the ground with its hammer, creating a defense aura that makes enemies, including itself, Blessed. The impact from the aura will also damage all units by 600 and stun towers for 4 seconds within its range of 15.
Logbook Description
"Champion Templars were the Fallen King's most legendary warriors. Only a handful of these fighters existed, and they were equipped with the most prestigious weaponry the kingdom could offer. When the Queen's curse swept through the kingdom, the sacred grounds protected the Templars from corruption. When the curse tainted their people into seeking out endless war, the Templars had to make a choice. They left their kingdom to join Two X, even if it meant fighting against the people they once swore to protect. In the Old World, they stood with Two X against Lord Exo's forces and were thought to be slain in the war. Although, one Templar had survived. The Fallen attempted to resurrect the others, hoping to restore the glory they once represented, but failed. The lone survivor searches to avenge what their kingdom once was, and slay their fallen King."
"Dating back to ancient Robloxian times, the Templar were considered some of the strongest warriors, composed of the fiercest victors from Exo's gladiatorial battles. They fought side by side in Exo's army of the Fallen, equipped with the most prestigious and advanced weaponry. After Exo vanished, the Templar went extinct. Many attempts have been made to resurrect them for the Fallen’s modern army using the corpses of their ancestors, but none have lived up to their former legacy.
Now, in the wake of renewed competitive spirit, one Templar awakens—resuming his original duty as the final Champion."
Appearance
The Champion Templar wears gold and white armor with red accents, two bulky shoulder pads each with a spike on top, a knight-like helmet with two eye sockets and silver horns. Various parts of its armor contain gold crosses. It wields a hammer-minigun fusion weapon which can switch between a minigun and hammer mode.

Strategy
- The Champion Templar is backed by plenty of Brutes, Molten Titans and Fallen Guardians. It is advised to bring high-end towers like the Accelerator, Necromancer, Mercenary Base and Minigunner to defeat it.
- The Champion Templar boasts extremely short cooldowns with heavy stuns, so towers like the Medic can be helpful to counteract Focused Fire and Hammer Throw.
- High-end DPS towers are suggested to take down Blessed enemies, and defense melting towers like the Pyromancer are invaluable to have, due to the incredibly high defense values.
- Although it may seem like due to Blessed, defense melting towers would be far more effective, this is not actually the case, as the value melted does not change. For instance, with 100% Defense, the Pyromancer will reduce it to 50%. If that same enemy has Blessed, the Pyromancer will not reduce it to 100% but instead will still reduce it down by 50% to 150%.
- Mortar and Rocketeer can be great picks as well, since they completely negate defense, and can chew down the horde to reduce Fiery Boon effectiveness.
- Baiting out the Champion Templar's attacks can be incredibly useful, as its attacks ravage your defending capabilities otherwise.

Trivia
- The Champion Templar Logbook can only be obtained through Challenge Trials.
- The Champion Templar is the first and currently the only PVP enemy to have different appearances based on the team it spawned in.
- If spawned outside of PVP mode (most notably in Challenge Trials), it would take the appearance of the Red Team spawn.
- The Champion Templar is a reimagining of the legacy Templar enemy.
- Because of this, it is likely named after the Knights Templar, a Catholic medieval chivalric order, most infamously known for the Crusades.
- The Champion Templar is unaffected by enemy appearance modifiers, such as Talk Like a Pirate Day.
- Interestingly, inside the Champion Templar’s torso lies a mini Champion Templar with no animations.
