Frost Necromancer
Description
The Frost Necromancer is a summoner enemy that appears in the Frost mode. Like most of that mode's enemies, it first appeared in the Operation I.C.E Event. It has a high amount of health and average speed. Upon using its Forbidden Arts ability, it will summon in nine Frost Undead with a 0.15 delay between each one. After using it, it will also set its Shield Health to 3,500, granting it Health Regen until all of its Shield Health is depleted. This makes its summons act as a distraction that lets it regenerate its health.
Logbook Description
"Frost Necromancers are artists, rejuvenating life into the corpses of the fallen and employing them to do their bidding. With staffs filled with energized ice, they willfully control their minions and grant them unique modifiers. Though shunned by the Frost Realm as tainted beings, Frost Necromancers remain beloved by the Frost Spirit to raise the dead."
Appearance
The Frost Necromancer is a floating, grey skeleton which wears purple robes. Its torso is black. On its back, it carry multiple skeletal parts, which are attached to it through chains wrapped around its torso. It wields a grey staff which has a lantern attached to it. This lantern contains energized ice, which allow them to summon and control the Frost Undead.
Strategy
- High DPS towers like the Pursuit, Ranger, Gatling Gun or Accelerator are great against the Frost Necromancer due to its high health.
- High DPS towers with area of effect capabilities, like the Gatling Gun or Pursuit are especially useful, as they can deal with both the Frost Necromancer and the enemies it summons.
- The Frost Necromancer will generally spawn in at the end of groups of enemies stronger enemies, like the Frost Hero and Frost Spirit. This shields it from most damage, allowing it to summon in as many enemies as possible and give it more time to regenerate its health..
- You can set towers to "Last Enemy", which will generally make them target the Frost Necromancer and kill it far faster, making the waves it spawns on easier.
