Description

[edit]

The Breaker2 is an enemy that appears in Easy, Casual, Intermediate, Molten, Fallen, Challenge Trials, Pizza Party, Badlands II and PVP modes. While it appears in all PVP ranks, it can only be sent by a player in Basic Arena PVP. It has a decent amount of health and a slightly fast speed, being slightly faster than the Hidden. Upon death, it will spawn one Breaker, which has less health but is faster. The Breaker, when spawned, is temporarily invulnerable to all forms of damage. Because of this, the Breaker2 can easily overwhelm unprepared players.

The Breaker2 is spawned by the Breaker3 upon its death, and is temporarily invulnerable to all forms of damage. The Grave Digger (both the regular and legacy version) also has a chance to spawn the Breaker2 with its Triumphing Sheol ability on Easy mode, as well as on Hardcore mode if the Enemies Beta modifier is active. It can/could also be spawned by the Mystery Summoner, Summoner Boss, Hardcore mode's Necromancer Boss and Void Reaver if the Enemies Beta modifier is active.

The Breaker2 also appeared as part of the The Classic Event, Tower Defense Simulator x PLS DONATE Event and The Takeover Event.

The Breaker2 was replaced by the Png Bot2 in Headache Headquarters. The Breaker2 replaces the Mystery in any map with the Enemies Beta modifier active.

Strategy

[edit]
  • The Breaker2 can prove to be quite dangerous due to its high health, speed and its ability to spawn a Breaker.
  • Later on in the game, natural Breaker2 spawns are not as threatening, though it can be dangerous because of the Breaker4.
  • Be aware that you do not earn any cash from damaging the Breaker that the Breaker2 spawns in every mode.
  • The Breaker that spawns from the Breaker2 does not need to be killed for wave progression to occur.
  • The Frost Blaster, Freezer and Electroshocker can be quite efficient at slowing these down while also dealing decent damage to them.

Trivia

[edit]
  • The Breaker2's animation when spawning from a Breaker3 is a reference to Mario from the Super Mario Bros franchise.
  • The Breaker2 has the most gamemode appearances, appearing in twelve gamemodes total, alongside the Breaker, Breaker3, and Necromancer.
  • The functionality of this enemy is very similar to the Solar Shard, Lunar Shard and Dust from the Solar Eclipse Event.
    • The appearance of this enemy parallels the Mystery, and its first appearance greatly resembles the Enemies Beta appearance of it.
  • The Commander improperly called this enemy a Mystery in legacy Hardcore mode. This was due to the regular mode dialogue being unchanged to account for the Enemies Beta modifier.
    • This mistake does not apply to Easy mode, since as of v1.33.0, the Commander now properly mentions the Breaker2 in that mode.
  • There was a bug where units would instantly be destroyed upon collision with a Breaker2, regardless of the unit's or the enemy's health.
    • This was due to an oversight where the Breaker spawning from this enemy gained a fraction of a second of invulnerability upon being spawned, instantly killing the unit without taking any damage itself.
    • Since v1.17.0, units no longer take damage from invulnerable enemies.
  • The legacy Breaker2, along the Breaker, Breaker3 and Breaker4, will turn into a opaque recolored version of itself when turned into a unit by the Hacker.
  • While the Legacy version of the Breaker2 can drop a Logbook, getting it will only give the player the modern Breaker2 in the Index.
