Voidling
Description
The Voidling is a fast enemy that appears in both Hardcore and Voidcore mode. It also appeared in the Halloween 2026 Live Events in the Nil Zone II map. It has rather high health though lower than the Blighted, but it is twice as fast as it.
It has one ability where on maps with more than one path, it will jump from one path to another around every 8 to 12 seconds. During this, it becomes a Flying enemy. As no maps in either mode it appears in have more than one path, this ability cannot be seen in normal gameplay.
Logbook Description
"Voidlings are the army’s standard issue. They are an Odd crammed into a set of armor and set loose into the world. When possible, they will throw themselves across the field and continue their path towards the enemy without any regard to their safety. They simply go where they are told and will do everything they can to get there."
Appearance
The Voidling has purple skin and neon pink eyes. One of its arms is visibly shorter than the other. It wears grey armor on its feet, shoulders neck and waist, strapped to it with brown clothing. It also has multiple neon pink crystals growing on its body.
Strategy
- DPS towers such as the Crook Boss, Accelerator, Enforcer, and Engineer can be helpful at taking down the Voidling.
- As the Voidling is quite fast, slowing towers such as the Freezer, Electroshocker, and Tesla can be used to slow and stun it, mitigating its speed.
- Do be aware that due to its normally large size, it can only be slowed down for a short amount of time compared to smaller enemies.

Trivia
- The Voidling's ability to jump between paths goes unused in both Hardcore and Voidcore modes as neither mode actually contains maps with more than one path, though it could be used in the limited time Nil Zone II map, as it had two paths.
- Despite this being unused in Hardcore and Voidcore, its Logbook description still mentions this ability.
- This technically makes the Voidling the first non-boss enemy able to switch lanes, and also the second evergreen enemy to be able to do so (the first being Frost Spirit).
- The Voidling is unaffected by enemy appearance modifiers, such as Talk Like a Pirate Day.
