Description

Talk Like a Pirate Day, internally referred to as PirateHat, is a cosmetic modifier that adds pirate hats onto every enemy.

Talk Like a Pirate Day appears exclusively in Black Spot Exchange; it is active in all matches on that map. Previously, on the 19th of September, it is active on all maps to celebrate the International Talk Like a Pirate Day. It was first enabled on all maps on the 19th of September 2022. This was disabled from the 19th of September 2025 onwards as it would break game functionality.

Effects

When active, Talk Like a Pirate Day modifier will add pirate hats onto every enemy. It does not override any cosmetic modifers. The pirate hat will be replaced by other modifiers' hats.

On some enemies like the Reaver, Fallen Jester and Legacy Normal, the pirate hat may be much bigger than it should be.

Trivia

• Weirdly, Talk Like a Pirate Day modifier uses the same icon as the Cowboy modifier.
• Despite the modifier being called Talk Like a Pirate Day, it does not make anyone like the Narrators talk like a pirate.
• The pirate hat that is added onto every enemy is a remodelled version of the Pirate Captain's Hat accessory from the Roblox catalog.
