- ―In-Game Description
Description
[edit]Nuclear is a modifier that increases all currency rewards by 30%.
Nuclear appears exclusively in Polluted Wasteland II; it is active in all matches on that map.
Effects
[edit]Previously, this modifier used to affect the health of multiple enemies and replaced multiple enemies that appeared on this map with their nuclear variants. However, as time went on, this functionality was slowly replaced by other parts of the game, until it has been replaced completely. Currently, its only purpose is to boost the rewards given by the map.
Prior to Polluted Wasteland II being moved to the Challenge Maps system, it replaced the following enemies[1]:
- The Mutated used to replace the Abnormal.
- The Mutated Speedy used to replace the Quick.
- The Polluted Hazmat used to replace the Heavy.
- The Mutated Boss used to replace the Abnormal Boss.
- The Amalgamation used to replace the Giant Boss.
- The Amalgamation also spawned Fleshlings when damaged.
- The Circuit used to replace the Glitch and the Error.
- The Rusher used to replace the Hazard.
- The Abomination used to replace the Tank.
- The Radioactive Slime used to replace the Boomer.
- The Radioactive Slime also spawned Goos upon death.
- The Super Toxic used to replace the Fallen Hero.
- The Nuclear Guardian used to replace the Fallen Guardian.
- The Nuclear Monster used to replace the Fallen King.
The modifier also used to replace more enemies before the Halloween 2022 Update[1]:
- The Necromancer used to replace the Dark Necromancer.
- The Necromancer also spawned Skeletons with its Summon ability.
- The Warden used to replace the Templar.
- The Necromancer Boss used to replace the Summoner Boss.
- The Necromancer Boss also spawned Cursed Skeletons with its Cursed Summon ability.
