Description

The Cursed Skeleton is a health regenerating enemy that appears early on in Voidcore mode and far later in the waves in Hardcore mode. It has higher health and speed as the Hefty, though instead of Defense it has Health Regen.

Logbook Description

"Even in death one shall serve the Void. Corpses of those whose realms were devoured decompose in the peaceful quiet and are scavenged by Odds or Swifts. They are then brought back to the Void Caster as an offering, as she then attaches a Phantom or an Odd’s soul directly into it. Many of the Swifts, Heftys and Odds don’t like interacting with the Cursed Skeleton, as they fear what it would be like not having flesh."

Strategy

• Cursed Skeletons can be easily dealt with by towers that deal a lot of damage, such as the Golden Minigunner, Golden Crook Boss or Accelerator.
• As the Cursed Skeleton spawns in groups, splash damage towers such as the Mortar, Rocketeer and Golden Demoman can also be useful against it.

Trivia

• The modern Cursed Skeleton is unaffected by enemy appearance modifiers, such as Talk Like a Pirate Day.
• The legacy Cursed Skeleton is very similar to the Hallow Bones that appeared in the Halloween 2020 Event.
  • It is also quite similar to the cursed enemies that appeared in the Solar Eclipse Event.
• The legacy Cursed Skeleton's death sound is similar to the Skeleton's hurt sound from Minecraft.
