Description

[edit]

The Fallen Reaper was a summoner enemy which only appeared in Hardcore mode. Currently, it can only be spawned in Sandbox mode if the player has the Sandbox Plus+ gamepass. It has one ability; it periodically swings it scythe forwards into the ground to summon random enemies. At its debut, it can spawn the Invisible or Hefty, though it can begin to spawn the Fallen Soul or Fallen starting from wave 25 or the Lava starting from wave 38.

The Fallen Reaper has an average amount of health for its debut and moves at an average speed. It also has Stun Immunity, which prevents the Warden and Electroshocker from completely stopping it, instead slowing it down and prevents it from being knocked back.

Appearance

[edit]

The Fallen Reaper is similar to the Dark Necromancer, but it does not have legs. Instead, it floats slightly above the path. It has reflective black skin, a dark black marble jacket with grey skull shoulder pads with neon purple eyes and a dark grey dominus. A dark purple chain is wrapped around its torso. It wields a neon purple scythe that can summon enemies.

Strategy

[edit]

This strategy refers to the state of the game while the Invisible still appeared in the Hardcore mode.

  • Deal with this enemy as soon as possible before its summons threaten your defenses.
  • From wave 25, if the Fallen Reaper is left unattended, it will start to spawn Fallen Souls which can increase the firerate of your towers, making them shoot slower.
    • They can also spawn Fallens which are very quick and may outrun your towers.
  • High DPS towers, like the Minigunner, Accelerator and Ranger, can deal with the Fallen Reaper.
    • You may want to set their targeting to Strongest to ignore the summoned enemies, though this may be risky.
  • The Electroshocker and Sledger can be quite useful at slowing this down. They can also deal a decent amount of damage to both the Fallen Reaper and the enemies it spawns.
    • Do note that stunning towers like the Warden cannot stop it completely due to its Stun Immunity, slowing it down instead. Additionally, this immunity also makes it immune to knockback.
  • The Military Base's Tank can be effective against the Fallen Reaper and the enemies it summons.

Trivia

[edit]
  • The Fallen Reaper's scythe is very similar to the Molten Boss's scythe, except that it is colored purple.
  • The Fallen Reaper could be considered the Fallen version of the Reaper.
  • The Fallen Reaper is the only way for the Fallen Soul to appear in Hardcore mode.
    • The Fallen Reaper can also spawn Fallens way before its debut wave (46) in Hardcore mode.
