Description

[edit]

The Null Brawler, internally referred to as the Corrupted Brawler, was an enemy that appeared in Blind Faith as part of the Null & Void Event. It had a decent amount of health and an above average speed.

It has one ability, Distorted Reposition, where it jumps from one path to another. If there is only one path, it will just slightly behind or in front of itself, landing on the same path. While jumping, it becomes a Flying enemy. Upon landing, it creates a shockwave with a radius of 15, which stuns towers hit by it for 3 seconds and deals 1,500 damage to units. This ability has a range of 30, meaning it will not be performed if the Null Brawler has no towers near it.

Logbook Description

[edit]

"Brawler ducked under a right hook, slipped left, and drove an uppercut into its stomach. As the creature doubled over, landed a clean shot to its face. Brawler bounced on his toes, rolling his shoulders, and spat to the side. "Felt good, didn't it?" As the creature stood, Brawler could swear the thing was grinding back at him."

Appearance

[edit]

The Null Brawler is a corrupted recreation of the Level 5 Brawler. It has purple skin and hair, with parts of its body being covered in purple goo. It wears a red vest, blue overalls and black shoes. On its left arm, it has grey and orange mechanical fists, while on its right, it has purple fingers.

Event Strategy

[edit]

As this enemy only appears through Sandbox mode, no strategy section is made for its current version. Instead, a strategy section for the one that appeared without Sandbox mode in Blind Faith is listed instead.

  • High DPS towers like the Accelerator, Turret, Ranger or Engineer can be used to deal with the Null Brawler.
    • Towers with flying detection can be useful, as they can attack it at all times, though this is not that important as it is only a Flying enemy for a short amount of time.
    • Stun immune towers like the Pursuit or Ranger cannot be stunned its ability, making them especially helpful against it.
  • The Medic can be used to shield towers from its stuns, though since it spawns multiple times per wave, this may not be particularly effective.
    • The Field Medic can be used to shield units from its damage, though it can only shield humanoid units.
    • You may also be able to pick Temperance to give all towers Stun Immunity.
