Soul

- Did you really believe your realm was the first to find silence? *Laughter.*
- ―Void Caster on Wave 41 (Voidcore)
Description
The Soul is a Hardcore and Voidcore mode enemy that cannot be attacked by towers without hidden detection. While its health is low for its debut, it is quick and can take unprepared defenses by surprise. As it is a Ghost enemy, units cannot collide with it. Anything that deals unit collision damage also cannot deal damage to it.
Logbook Description
"The Soul is what is left when a realm ends and the dead have not passed into the afterlife. They will drift aimlessly across the Nil Zone once the realm is completely destroyed, and are either eaten up by whatever may have survived the collapse or captured for use. In this case, the Void consumed many realms before their battle with TDS. Where there were once countless realms, the Void devoured nearly all of them in a short span of time. Now, few remain unaccounted for."
Appearance
The Soul has a white translucent body and no legs. It wears a white, black and purple robe that covers most of its body.
The legacy Soul is a white translucent and faceless enemy. It emits light when it runs.
Due to its transparency, the Hidden attribute applied to it makes it fade completely then fades back into view at regular intervals.
Strategy
- DPS towers with hidden detection such as the Accelerator, Engineer, Turret or Juggernaut can be used to defeat Souls.
- Support towers like the Commander, DJ Booth and Mercenary Base can aid in further boosting the DPS of towers.
- You can use the Ace Pilot to give hidden detection to towers that lack the detection such as the Ranger and Kingpin.
- As the Soul is a Ghost enemy, units such as the Railgun Tank cannot collide with it. They can however, damage the Soul with their ranged attacks if they are able to detect Hidden enemies.
