Description

[edit]

The Hefty is a tanky enemy that appears in Hardcore and Voidcore modes. It has higher health and Defense than every enemy that appeared before it, though it is also slower than all of them.

The Hefty can be spawned by the Mystery.

Logbook Description

[edit]

"The Hefty are those who are completely consumed by the Void Gems. Gems sprout from their bodies as their skin turns to crystal. The souls trapped within their bodies are chained down by magic as the transformation causes them to fall out with nothing organic to hold onto."

Strategy

[edit]
  • While fairly tough for its debut, the Hefty can easily be handled by most early game towers, such as the Pyromancer, Engineer and Operator.
    • As Voidcore mode awards much less cash, completely relying on the Pyromancer is not recommended.
  • The Hefty's Defense is negligible, as it is too low to have an impact on most towers.

Trivia

[edit]
  • Weirdly, the health of the Hefty was increased in MEGA Servers, despite it not being able to spawn in a MEGA Server without admin commands.
  • The legacy version of the Hefty looks similar to the Rusted.
    • Its original appearance looked similar to the unreleased and current version of Chained Boss.
  • The Hefty is unaffected by enemy appearance modifiers, such as Talk Like a Pirate Day.
