Void Guardian
Description
The Void Guardian is a tanky enemy that appears in both Hardcore and Voidcore modes. It has high health but rather slow speed.
The Void Guardian has one ability, where it will attack a tower or unit in its range of 24, then thrust a spear at it, creating an attack with the same range but an angle of 15. Towers hit by this move will get frozen for 10 seconds while units receive 250 damage. When performing this ability, the Shield Health of the Void Guardian is set to 25,000. As it just changes the Shield Health rather than adding it, this means that if this ability is used while the Shield Health from the previous ability usage has not been fully depleted, it will not add 25,000 Shield Health on top of the currently existing Shield Health, but instead just change it back to 25,000 again.
Logbook Description
"The Void Guardian is usually found surrounding the outskirts of the Void Army to protect them from the creatures that lie within it. Many of the giants that were created during the Old World by both Void Caster and Lord Exo have fallen, but not all died. Some slunk back into the darkness of the Void where they continue to reside. It’s unknown if they would ever resurface, but the Void Guardian stands guard regardless, for even the Void Caster barely has control over the creatures she had created. The will of the Void is a dangerous thing."
Appearance
The Void Guardian has a black body. It wears purple pants, shirt, gloves and belt. It has a purple chestplate on its torso with chains wrapped around it and a visor on its head. It has purple horns coming out of its head and corruption on its right shoulder. It wears a brown cape it covers its left arm with. It carries a purple and gold spear it attacks towers and units with.
Strategy
- High DPS towers like the Juggernaut, Turret and Pursuit are recommended against the Void Guardian.
- Towers with high range are also recommended, as they can be placed at a safe distance from the Void Guardian.
- The Void Guardian's Spear of the Void ability can be quite dangerous, as without the Medic, majority of the towers are not immune to freeze.
- Using the Juggernaut's top path can negate some of the freeze time.
- Note that stalling the Void Guardian is much harder than with most other enemies, as it is both Stun and Freeze Immune.

Trivia
- The Void Guardian in Voidcore mode has the highest health for a non-Boss enemy in the game.
- The non-Boss enemy with the second highest health, the Nuclear Guardian, only has 175,000 health, not accounting for Bloated during its first wave appearance.
- The Void Guardian is unaffected by enemy appearance modifiers, such as Talk Like a Pirate Day.
