Deep Freeze

- They look like they're built to be front liners! I bet their job is to make an opening so they can kill us! How cool!
- ―Professor V on Wave 30 (Frost)
Description
The Deep Freeze is a Lead enemy that appears in the Frost mode. Like most of that mode's enemies, it first appeared in the Operation I.C.E Event. It has a decent amount of health and average speed. As it is a Lead enemy, only towers with lead detection can damage it. Additionally, it also has the Stun Immunity, making it harder to stall.
Logbook Description
"The Deep Freeze is a formidable addition to the Frost Army. These slow but sturdy creatures clear paths for smaller units. Protected by reinforced armor as they travel the battlefield, Deep Freezes are natural frontline leaders in combat."
Appearance
The Deep Freeze is a creature protected with pieces of reinforced armor, covering up its entire body. This armor is grey and dark grey with a few blue spikes coming out of it on its shoulders and the helmet. It also has visible fingers on its armor. Upon its death, it will fall to the ground and its helmet will fall of, revealing its black head and blue horns.
Strategy
- As the Deep Freeze spawns with Lead, towers with lead detection like the Accelerator, Ranger, Turret, Golden Demoman and Kingpin are required here.
- Unit collisions has lead detection by default. This means towers which normally do not have lead detection, like the Necromancer or most Mercenary Base units, can damage it through collisions.
- The Firework Technician can be used to give towers which cannot damage it lead detection.
