Description

The Void Eye is an enemy that appears in Hardcore Mode and the Voidcore Mode. The Void Eye is primarily summoned by the Void Reaver and the Soul Stealer, it does not appear naturally in either of the two modes. The Void Eye has a decent amount of health and moves at such a slow speed it is practically immobile. It will fire a projectile every 4-5 seconds at a tower or unit that crates an explosion with a radius of 4, stunning towers for 3 seconds and dealing 200 damage to units.

Logbook Description

"The Void Eyes are pulled from what were once creatures that roamed the Void. Even now, there are many things that have bloomed within the darkness after realms have found their peace. Nothing is left to waste, and some of the more valuable parts are turned into pieces of the Void Caster’s army. When they aren’t attacking, they weep quietly to themselves, hidden off in a corner until they are needed again."

Appearance

The Void eye is a floating purple eyeball with a black eye socket as its body. Around it is a purple-like effect and in its center it has a black elliptical pupil.

Strategy

  • To prevent the Void Eye from stunning towers, you can set high DPS towers, such as the Juggernaut to Weakest or to Last Enemy to deal with them.
  • Towers such as the Farm can be used to bait their attacks.
    • Despite stunning towers, the Void Eye will actually target towers immune to stuns, allowing practically any tower to be used for this purpose.
  • The Mercenary Base's Air-Drop ability with the units all set to Riot Guard can be used by sending the units directly at the Void Eye.

Trivia

  • The Void Eye is most likely based on the Roblox accessory, the The Hematite Eye.
  • Excluding immobile enemies, the Void Eye is the slowest enemy in the game, as it is ten times slower than the Ice Beacon.
  • The Void Eye is unaffected by enemy appearance modifiers, such as Talk Like a Pirate Day.
