Lead
Description
The Lead is a Lead enemy that appears in Hardcore and Voidcore modes. It has decent health and speed. It initially spawns with Lead, meaning only towers with lead detection can damage it, and with the Stun Immunity, meaning stuns are less effective on it while knockback does not affect it. However, once it loses all of its Shield Health, it will lose its covering and also the Lead and Stun Immunity attributes it has by default.
Logbook Description
"Molten material was poured on the bodies of Odds and molded by the blacksmiths. If they were lucky enough to survive, it would be nearly impossible for the Leads to take damage. In fact, this worked so well that Odds were beginning to run from the selection process, with many dragged back. If the Odds still had their individuality, it was most apparent during this part."
Appearance
The Lead is a humanoid entirely covered in grey metal. Upon losing all of its Shield Health, it will usually lose most of its metal coverings, revealing that it is an entity with grey skin and purple veins. In its torso, it has a giant hole. It has two walking animations it can choose from.
The Lead will lose one piece of its armor covering (head, torso, left leg, right leg, left arm, right leg) at random every time it loses one sixth of its Shield Health, or a covering loss every 6-7 health lost. In cases of it receiving more than 7 damage, like 14 damage at once, it will lose multiple pieces at once, which in the previously listed 14 damage's case that being two pieces of armor. The only exception to this is it losing all of its Shield Health, as this happening does not actually remove any armor. This means there will always be at least one piece of armor left on the Lead, with it even being possible to have it keep all of its armor if the Shield Health received 40 damage at once.
Strategy
- Cheap towers that have lead detection like the Engineer, Mortar, Golden Pyromancer or Saboteur are recommended against the Lead due to its lead coverings, though as it loses its Lead after its Shield Health is depleted, other towers can also help in taking it out.
- The Cowboy and Golden Cowboy do not have lead detection, but their shots at the Lead still count towards their income generation, allowing them to earn extra cash.
