Description

Lord Sinister was a major boss that appeared exclusively in Trick or Threat Town as the final boss of the Halloween 2020 Event. As with most major bosses, Lord Sinister had an extremely high amount of health, but walked very slowly.

Lord Sinister had three abilities:

1. Its Sinister Taunt ability spawned a random number of enemies from the ground. These could have been the Reanimated, Slime, Hallow Bones and Ghost.
2. Its Hallowed Slam ability involved Lord Sinister slamming its axe into the ground, creating a forward shockwave that stunned towers.
3. Finally, its Infernal Storm ability involved Lord Sinister breathing fire at towers, setting them alight, stunning them. This attack also dealt damage to units, 150 damage per tick.

Appearance

Lord Sinister was a large demonic-like boss. It had a black pumpkin head, with glowing yellow eyes and mouth, and wore a black rusted crown. It wore bronze armor, which included a large chestplate, pauldrons and leggings. On its torso was an engraving of a spooky pumpkin face. Lord Sinister's arms were neon yellow and it wore grey gloves with white knuckles. Lord Sinister's legs were marbled crimson. Around its left leg was a neon yellow chain. Lord Sinister wielded a large axe with its right hand. The axe's design appeared to have a face.

Strategy

• Towers that have a high DPS output are recommended, such as the Ranger, Minigunner and Turret.
  • Because Trick or Threat Town has lots of suitable cliff space, the Ranger is ideal.
• The Commander's Call to Arms ability can be used to boost the firerate of towers. If you have multiple Commanders, you can chain their abilities to ensure firerate is always at its lowest.
• Due to Lord Sinister's Freeze Immunity, the Frost Blaster and Freezer cannot slow down Lord Sinister.
  • The Electroshocker can only slow down Lord Sinister instead of stunning it. Additionally, it can only slow it down for a very short period of time due to its large size.
• Make sure that you have sufficient towers after the path crosses the bridge, otherwise enemies that Lord Sinister spawns may get out of range.
  • The Ghost can especially cause havoc as it has hidden and ghost immunity, meaning it cannot collide with units.
• Lord Sinister's stuns can stun towers for a long period of time. You can use the Medic's ability to cleanse your towers of Lord Sinister's stun.
• While units, like the Railgun Tank and Citizen 1, can be effective against Lord Sinister's summoned enemies, Lord Sinister's Infernal Storm can pretty much destroy most units.

• Lord Sinister is based on Lord Sinister from a boss fight game made by BelowNatural, which is no longer playable. Footage of it can be found here.
  • Lord Sinister that appears in Tower Defense Simulator can be considered a remake of that Lord Sinister.
• Lord Sinister is the first enemy to have voice acting.
  • Lord Sinister's voice actor is Razuatix, a retired Tower Defense Simulator developer.
  • Lord Sinister has an unused voiceline that could be heard during the April Fools 2022, if it was picked as the random sound. The voiceline was: "It's harvesting season!"
    • This voiceline was likely meant to be one of the playable sounds for Hallowed Slam.
• The Gladiator's Pumpkin skin is heavily based on Lord Sinister.
• When Lord Sinister died, its head fell off and rolled a short distance. Lord Sinister also screamed "Nooo!".
• The Level 5 Graveyard Farm has a statue of Lord Sinister, possibly being its grave.
• Lord Sinister's theme (Harvesting Season Theme) was a remix of Mega Man Star Force 2 OST - T27: Wave Battle (Boss Theme).
  • Interestingly, the original track was used by Lord Pumpkin Jr., an event boss in R2DA which BelowNatural worked on.
• Lord Sinister's axe design was based on the Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker from Team Fortress 2.
• Lord Sinister's crown was the Black Iron Crown of Pwnage accessory from the Roblox catalog.
• Weirdly, the health of the Lord Sinister was increased in MEGA Servers by 15,000 per player, despite it not being able to spawn in a MEGA Server without admin commands.
