Elite Lead
Description
The Elite Lead is a tanky Lead enemy that appears in Hardcore and Voidcore modes. It has high health and average speed. It initially spawns with Lead, meaning only towers with lead detection can damage it, and with the Stun Immunity, meaning stuns are less effective on it while knockback does not affect it. However, once it loses all of its Shield Health, it will lose its covering and also the Lead and Stun Immunity attributes it has by default. To compensate however, it will increase its speed to 5 once all of its coverings are lost.
Logbook Description
"Taking the same concept as the Lead, the Elite Lead are Swifts who have fallen victim to the same process as the Odds. Though, more careful consideration was taken for their armor due to mobility reasons."
Appearance
The Elite Lead is a humanoid entirely covered with grey metal armor. Upon losing all of its Shield Health, it will usually lose most of its metal coverings, revealing that it is an entity with grey skin, purple substance on its hands and purple veins. In its torso, it has a giant hole with a purple crystal.
The Elite Lead will lose one piece of its armor covering (head, torso, left leg, right leg, left arm, right leg) at random every time it loses one sixth of its Shield Health, or a covering loss every 25 health lost. In cases of it receiving more than 25 damage, like 50 damage at once, it will lose multiple pieces at once, which in the previously listed 50 damage's case that being two pieces of armor. The only exception to this is it losing all of its Shield Health, as this happening does not actually remove any armor. This means there will always be at least one piece of armor left on the Elite Lead, with it even being possible to have it keep all of its armor if the Shield Health received 150 damage at once.
Strategy
- The Elite Lead has the Lead attribute until its shield health is depleted.
- Towers with lead detection like the Engineer, Golden Scout and Saboteur are required for dealing with the Elite Lead.
- Once its coverings is removed, other towers like the Crook Boss or Minigunner can also be used even if they do not have lead detection.
- The Elite Lead also has the Stun Immunity, making stuns only slow it down.
- Once it loses its Shield Health, it will lose this immunity, making stuns far more effective.
